Are you a teetotaller that finds himself/ herself having to drink only sugar laden mocktails and soft drinks at parties?

Are you someone that gets a bad throat and congestion from drinking all that wine, beer, on-the-rocks, cocktails etc., especially during winters, just like me?
My favourite and most delicious and healthy way to get around this issue, is to make my own hot toddy and carry it to the party. And if you are hosting the party then definitely make this recipe for your teetotaller friends, they will LOVE you for life!
Ingredients
Water - 500ml
Oranges - 4/5
Cloves - 4/5 pieces
Staranise - 2 pieces
Cinnamon stick - 2 whole pieces
Honey - 1 tbsp
Recipe
Start with taking your water and whole spices in a saucepan and bringing it up to a boil.
Simmer for 4-5 minutes
Meanwhile juice your oranges and pass the juice through a sieve so that it is nice and smooth, not pulpy.
Add the juice to your saucepan and allow the mixture to come to a boil, turn off the stove immediately.
Stir in your honey.
Serve with a slice of Orange. 🍊
Voila! Your healthy party drink is ready. My favourite alcohol to add to this is Hensessy. You may choose to have it with any whiskey of your choice, or even rum or gin..OR...just as is.
